Lisbeth Dereaux

Lisbeth Dereaux is Co-Founder and Principal of Avance Global Advisors, a fractional C-suite strategic advisory firm that helps early-stage and mid-market organizations build the financial, operational and technology foundation they need to grow. She works directly with founders and leadership teams to strengthen governance, improve financial visibility, and guide AI readiness, cybersecurity risk management and digital transformation.

Lisbeth began her career in banking as an operations supervisor and brings more than 25 years of experience across finance, legal operations, executive leadership, and global business. Most recently, as Vice President of Legal Operations at Griffitts LLP, a boutique corporate law firm in New York, she partnered with the Managing Partner to run firm operations and technology strategy to drive firm-wide adoption of AI-embedded workflows. Lisbeth cut operating costs at the law firm by 20% over two years through disciplined budgeting, cash-flow management, and vendor negotiations.

Earlier in her career, she worked alongside the CEO and Board of Directors at Lifetime Entertainment Services, and she spent years managing international sourcing and production, including letters of credit negotiations with manufacturers around the world.

That range gives Lisbeth a practical view of what a small business needs to grow securely and become ready for capital. She believes the right funding often follows clean financials, sound governance, and a clear plan. Beyond her advisory work, Lisbeth sits on the board of NAWIC Long Island, the local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.
